By booking or using our auto transport services, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully before placing an order.
Auto Transport Wave acts as a licensed auto transport broker connecting customers with qualified, insured carriers. We arrange for the transportation of vehicles but do not own or operate the trucks that perform the actual transport.
All quotes are based on information provided by the customer (vehicle type, condition, pickup/delivery locations, dates, etc.).
Prices are subject to change if the information provided is inaccurate or if unforeseen circumstances occur (e.g., oversized vehicles, non-operational cars, remote locations).
Deposits (if applicable) are non-refundable once a carrier has been assigned.
The customer must ensure the vehicle is in safe and operable condition unless otherwise agreed.
Vehicles must be prepared for transport (remove personal belongings, secure loose parts, and keep the fuel tank at ¼ full).
Auto Transport Wave and assigned carriers are not responsible for personal items left inside the vehicle.
Pickup and delivery dates are estimated, not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to weather, traffic, mechanical issues, or other unforeseen events.
Carriers will attempt door-to-door service whenever possible. If access is restricted (e.g., narrow streets, low bridges, HOA restrictions), the customer must meet the carrier at a nearby accessible location.
All carriers contracted through Auto Transport Wave carry the legally required cargo insurance.
Customers must inspect the vehicle upon pickup and delivery and note any damages on the Bill of Lading.
The carrier is responsible for damages caused during transport, not Auto Transport Wave.
Auto Transport Wave is not liable for:
Pre-existing damage.
Damage due to weather, road debris, or “Acts of God.”
Mechanical issues unrelated to transport.
Orders canceled before a carrier is assigned may be eligible for a refund (minus processing fees).
Orders canceled after a carrier is assigned may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
If the customer is unavailable at pickup or delivery without notice, additional fees may apply.
Provide accurate vehicle and contact information.
Ensure someone is available at pickup and delivery to release and accept the vehicle.
Pay all agreed fees promptly.
Payment terms (deposit, balance due upon delivery, or full prepayment) will be disclosed at the time of booking.
Final payment is typically due in cash, cashier’s check, or money order directly to the carrier unless otherwise arranged.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the New York, United States , and any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that state.
Auto Transport Wave reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Customers are encouraged to review them periodically.
